Ministry Of Sound has released a statement after a “serious” break-in at its London nightclub on Wednesday, January 19.

Multiple videos were posted online showing a large group of people streaming towards the venue and breaking in via its girls’ bathroom, throwing an illegal rave with people setting off confetti cannons and spray painting the mirrors, before ultimately being chased out of the club by security.

In the comments, one video uploader wrote: "there was like 100 people walking and shouting with bolt cutters and bally’s on", and that it took around "2 hours for the feds to show up and shut it down".

Adam Beyer has announced his first album in over two decades.

'Explorer Vol.1' is set to land on the techno stalwart's Drumcode imprint in June, marking Beyer's first full-length EP since 2002's 'Ignition Key'.

Italian techno producer Raffaele Attanasio has been admitted to intensive care to recover following heart surgery, his management have said.

The Naples-born DJ and producer underwent heart surgery earlier this week, his management company YAM Agency revealed on Instagram stories (via Resident Advisor).

They confirmed that the surgery was successful, and that he is now “in intensive care to recover”.

Per WSJ, Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, reached a deal with music publishing and talent management company Primary Wave before her death in February.

“Primary Wave is thrilled to announce our partnership with the Estate of Notorious B.I.G.,” the publishing company announced on Instagram yesterday, March 20.

Primary Wave told WSJ that they hope to take his story to Broadway, and create an “immersive music experience” through his catalogue.

Hanoi's Savage nightclub has announced that it will close "in the coming months" due to a government urban development project in the Quảng An Peninsula.

The Dang Thai Mai-based queer venue shared the news via an Instagram post yesterday (19 March), writing: "Savage Club in Hanoi announces its imminent closure due to a government-led urban development project in Quang An Peninsula, anticipated for sometime later this year, 2025."

Canadian producer Aaron Funk – otherwise known under his Venetian Snares alias – has released his first solo single in more than 11 years.

‘Drums’ landed on Tuesday, March 18, as the first single from Planet Mu’s 30th anniversary compilation, which features 25 tracks from artists across the label’s roster and beyond.

The new single sounds recognisably like Venetian Snares’ early work, packed with 808 snares, modular synthwork, and frenetic break samples.

Elsewhere, the label announced two 30th anniversary parties set to go ahead in London and Berlin respectively this spring.

The cast for Charli xcx's upcoming film The Moment has been announced, with Alexander Skarsgård, Jamie Demetriou and Rosanna Arquette all confirmed to appear in the A24 "mockumentary".

According to Deadline, The Moment will follow "a pop star in the lead-up to her first headline arena tour.

The Moment also gives an inside look at the inner workings of the music industry and explores how subculture is mutated by commercial success.

As stated in their post, Gel will no longer be performing at any of their previously scheduled concerts.

Back in 2018, members of the powerviolence band Sick Shit—guitarist Matthew Bobko, drummer Zach Miller, and guitarist Anthony Webster—formed Gel with vocalist Sami Kaiser as a new side-project for their slower, more hardcore punk material.

They released a demo tape and self-titled EP in 2018 before bringing onboard guitarist Madison Nave.

Gel went on to release two more EPs, 2021’s Violent Closure and 2024’s Persona, and one full-length album, 2023’s Only Constant.

My journey has now led me to owning an HPD-20 haha. What's hilarious is I've wanted to own one of these for soooo long but their price has kept me away. Now that I have one I realize how difficult drumming on these can be. I get it, but making it sound cool and effortless is the hard part especially at faster tempos. I've never explained exactly what is happening in my tiny setup, that changes today. I'll walk you through my setup and show you why I've been loving making music with it! The TL:DR is I have something constantly recording as a "just in case." This is thanks to the SkipBack feature on the SP-404MKII. But most importantly, I have a machine (the Digitakt II) that is my catch all for my whole studio. Everything I play and make will eventually get recorded into that sampler which will play it back. ​Scott Henderson «Karnevel!» (Self-released, 2024) Удивительно, что новый альбом Скотта Хендерсона остался практически незамеченным. Речь не только о медиа. Кажется, даже преданные поклонники гитариста могли упустить «Karnevel!» из виду. Меж тем пластинка абсолютно блестящая. Здесь всё как мы любим: дикий дизайн обложки, композиция с названием «Вакцинация» (между прочим, ироничное подмигивание песне «Soul Vaccination» группы Tower of Power) и тот самый фьюжн, которого больше нет. Главное — редкое ощущение, что музыка создается и меняется каждую секунду. Собственно, практически все композиции «Karnevel!» были записаны в ходе импровизаций в режиме реального времени.
