Yetsuby has announced the release of her first full-length album ‘4EVA’, set to land this March on new UK-based record label Pink Oyster.

In Screenshare, a new commission by The Vinyl Factory and 180 Studios, artist and stage designer Es Devlin assembles a cinema screen from recreations of her sketchbooks.

Es Devlin first collaborated with The Vinyl Factory to stage a new commission, BlueSkyWhite, which was part of the LUX exhibition, which took place at 180 Studios in 2021.

The Vinyl Factory has brought together the soundtracks of two installations by British designer Ben Kelly on a new vinyl release.

Composed by Robin Rimbaud aka Scanner, Columns / Falling Columns originally accompanied two installations commissioned by 180 Studios for the 2022 exhibition Future Shock.

The CRB Computerband 2000 is to me the most interesting of all the auto-accompany boxes coming from Italy in the 1970s. It sounds gloriously retro, yet has a nice thump and beautiful arps. Since you can switch of all parts individually. you can make it sound like minimal disco. Explored at Museo del synth Marchigiano

@ahkosmos exploring the latest addition to the tape and test equipment studio. She is filtering a tape loop with a Brüel & Kjaer Spectrum Shaper, with the result running into the @eowave_modular Metallik Resonater in the back. Originally created for measurement purposes, the filterbank found its way into many experimental electronic music studios, from Warsaw to Paris. In later versions, Bruel & Kjaer even acknowledge the possible application for musical special effects in their catalogues. AFAIK it is the only of their instruments to get that particular honor. In this video I explore the roots of a technique at the core of 20th century minimal music, phasing. Steve Reich discovered that he could get a vast of amount of almost kanon-like variations on a theme using two tape loops. Due to tiny fluctuations in tape playback speed, an identical phrase played back on two machine at the same time will drift apart. This results in a mesmerizing effect where sounds blend and play off each other. Порог входа в музыку падает, а сама она обесценивается. Поэтому проблемы количества в музыке, мне кажется, вообще нет: оно продолжает расти в геометрической прогрессии, правда, во все более бюджетных вариантах.
